Did the plot pull you in or did you feel you had to force yourself to read the book? The plot definitely pulled me in and I couldn't wait to finish it. Luke seems to be a conflicted character. He knows what he has to do but something holds him back and you always get the feeling that he can be so much more with just a little bit of confidence.
How realistic was the characterization? The characters were well-written and felt real. The events were as real as they could be and I think if I had to describe one emotion that was significant from beginning to end, it was fear. Even as a reader, you always fear that something is going to go wrong.
What are some of the book's themes? Murder. Some romance. And of course, uncovering the truth. Luke is the very example of still waters run deep and he is one character I will definitely be reading more of.
